ABOUT

Alderly Edge is a small Blue Ridge Mountain development made up of 27 Lots and 16 homes. It was established in October of 1967 by The William F Martin Trust.  In 1979, The William F Martin Trust deeded over to Lewis and Laura Gragg the first 5 lots on the right as you enter to The Gragg's Woods development.

The Southwest portion of Alderly Edge (lots 20, 21, A and B) once bordered the National Park Service but was traded to an adjoining neighbor, Richard Chastain in 1992. Alderly Edge was once said to have been a Rhododendron Nursery in the 1940's then became a Dentist's retreat after that.  The property is still fully enlighted with Rhododendron today.

There is currently a Homeowners Association which meets yearly in July. The current president hosts the meeting.
